From May 15, 2017, Levan Mikeladze Foundation, with the financial support of the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Georgia, launches 12-month project " Train the Messenger". 

This project is the second phase of the project " Train the Messenger - EU, Human Rights and Family Values" implemented by the Levan Mikeladze Foundation in 2016-2017yy.

The goal of the project is to promote integration of minorities and develop capacities of religious leaders to fight discrimination and stigmatization via educating about Human Rights and international Human Rights Institutions

The target groups of the project are representatives of religious minorities  in Georgia - Muftis,priests of Catholic and Armenian Apostolic churches and their parishioners.

Within the framework of the project the workshops will be held on tolerance, freedom of religion and human rights.

The goal of the project is to support Georgia in EU approximation process. The project aims to supply comprehensive information in a simple and understandable language on conditions, rules and procedures of the visa free regime for Georgian citizens to travel to the EU Member States (except for the United Kingdom and Ireland) and Schengen associated States .The objective of the project will be achieved via information campaign in whole Georgia, thus contributing to reducing the refusal rates of entrance permission at the borders of the Schengen Zone due to the lack of information.

On February 24, at 10:00 am, in the Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, the Levan Mikeladze Foundation and the Department of Social and Political Sciences of the Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University held a Panel Discussion "Georgia in the Evolving International Context.” The event was dedicated to the 60th anniversary of late Ambassador Levan Mikeladze, the eminent Georgian diplomat and scholar.

On December 20, 2016, the Levan Mikeladze Foundation held the fourth meeting of Strategic Communication working group on the topic “NATO Communication Strategy”. The meeting was organized in the framework of the project - “National Convention on the EU in Georgia”. The project is carried out in partnership with the Slovak Foreign Policy Association (SFPA) and with the financial support of the Slovak Aid and Europe Foundation. 
The meeting took place in the Office of Information Center on NATO and EU. It was chaired by Ms. Mariam Rakviashvili, the Deputy State Minister on European and Euro Atlantic Integration and by Mr. David Sikharulidze, Chairman of the Atlantic Council of Georgia.
