The conference’s main purpose was to discuss the current political situation in Near East, and to represent different positions and views about the future expectations of the region. The special attention was paid to the current negotiations and Iran’s nuclear program. At the same time, Iran-Georgian relations were emphasized from the very beginning up to the present.

This project stressed the significance of European Security in 21st century, exclusively energy and cyber security, and the defence. The Forum demonstrated the serious threat from Islamic extremism, not only for Europe but for the whole world. The Forum applied to Ukrainian crises and Russia with special attention, and discussed the Central Europe’s challenges and threats to act independently on international agenda.

The Conference’s main goal was to raise awareness of the Black Sea Region’s importance, to discuss US’s policy towards Georgia as well as its current and future challenges. The internal and external factors of the region were also emphasized, and the new ideas – concerning the opportunities and closer cooperation were underlined by the experienced and professional experts.
