On July 23, the second roundtable discussion within the project ‘’Promoting Conflict Transformation’’ was held in the Gori Municipality City Hall. 20 representatives from the non-governmental sector, the media and the local government joined in discussing conflict transformation as a complementary approach to conflict resolution.

In the beginning, Archil Gegeshidze, the Executive Director of the Levan Mikeladze Foundation, made introductory remarks, followed by the presentation by Natia Chankvetadze, the project researcher. The participants of the discussion noted the expediency of such an approach and underlined the timelines of reviewing practices of conflict management in Georgia.
