The project aims to help eradicate the risk of radicalization and extremist militancy in vulnerable communities by raising awareness and improving skills towards resilience to unknown propaganda as a cause of radicalization.
On October 7, 17 and 22, The Levan Mikeladze Foundation organized four workshops in the Ferma village (Kaspi Municipality), in Bolnisi, in Marneuli and the Iormughanlo village (Sagarejo Municipality).
On July 25, the third roundtable discussion within the project ‘’Promoting Conflict Transformation’’ was held in the Akhalgori Municipality.
On July 23, the second roundtable discussion within the project ‘’Promoting Conflict Transformation’’ was held in the Gori Municipality City Hall. 20 representatives from the non-governmental sector, the media and the local government joined in discussing conflict transformation as a complementary approach to conflict resolution.
On July 19, the Levan Mikeladze Foundation organized a discussion at the Zugdidi City Hall. This event was held within the framework of the project “Promoting Conflict Transformation”, generously funded by the National Endowment for Democracy.
On June 11, 2019, an award ceremony took place under the auspices of the Levan Mikeladze Foundation, where cash prizes were awarded to students of the faculty of International Relations and Human Geography.
The Levan Mikeladze Award ceremony will take place in Frontline Georgia Club on June 9, at 19:00.
The Levan Mikeladze Foundation grieves over the untimely death of Mr. Frank P. Greinke, a member of the International Advisory Board.
On May 7, 2019, in Washington, at the Institute for Middle East9 Studies, a conference was held titled "Georgia and its Neighborhood." The event, which was organized by the Levan Mikeladze Foundation for the Caucasus Studies, the Georgian Embassy to the United States and the Georgian Association of the USA, was devoted to issues of foreign and security policy of Georgia.
