The 6th meeting of the group of experts working on energy security was held on June 22 within the framework of the project "National Convention on the European Union in Georgia".

The Levan Mikeladze Foundation, in cooperation with the Research Center of the Slovak Foreign Policy Association (SFPA), is implementing the project "National Convention on the EU in Georgia" with financial support from SlovakAid and the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung. Within the framework of the project, on July 15, 2022, the third meeting of experts working on external communication was held at the Information Center on NATO and EU. It was attended by experts in the field, representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, and non-governmental organizations.

The draft of the concept paper on external communication prepared by local and Slovak experts was discussed at the meeting. Founding partner at Egeria Solution, Tamar Khulotdava spoke on the topic “External Communication for Successful Foreign Policy.” Georgian expert Dimitri Tskitishvili spoke on the importance of external communication. He also briefly talked about the concept paper on Georgia’s External Communication Strategy. Also a Slovak expert, Ondrej Gazovic presented the topic “Slovakia and Its Road to the EU: Lessons Learned.” After the presentation, a discussion was held.

The meeting was moderated by Ivane Chkhikvadze, EU Integration Program Manager at Open Society Foundation Georgia.
