On February 20th, 2018 in the framework of the project “Train the Messenger” the Levan Mikeladze Foundation held a workshop for religious minorities of Kvemo Kartli region in Marneuli. The meeting was attended by the Muslim religious leaders of Kvemo Kartli Region.

During the conference the invited project expert Vakhushti Menabde  (Associate Professor Law Major at Ilia State University) made presentations with two "Messangers" of the project: Tozu Gulmamedova and Oktai Isaev.

The workshop discussed the property problems of ethnic minorities, religion and education and the general standarts of freedom of religion.

The discussion was simultanously translated into Azeri language.

Since May 15, 2017, the Levan Mikeladze Foundation implements the project “Train the Messenger ” with financial support of Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to Georgia.
