Study Visit at Bratislava

On November 30rd - December 4th, in the framework of the project "National Convention on the EU in Georgia" Eka Bramidze (The Development Program Director of LMF) and Eter Sajaia (Financial manager of LMF) visited Bratislava. The overall goal of the project is to stimulate the direct, transparent and open dialogue among the target groups, to provide them with the expert information and feedback from different networks, groups or local organizations, to engage into the discussion on the key issues of the European integration of Georgia and its eventual success crucial segments of the society and facilitate the establishment of the groups based on the common cross-political interest. The target groups are : the government, public opinion makers, media, NGOs, political parties, different networks, entrepreneur s and public at large in Georgia.

During the study visit in Slovakia, LMF representatives held numerous interesting meetings with the director of Slovak Foreign Policy Associatio (SFPA)- Alexander Duleba, Head of Eurocomission Press and Political Department - Andrey Kralik, Head of Eastern Partnership issues at the Embassy of Slovakia - Dusan Dacho. During the meetings, the importance of this project was highlighted and full support of Slovakia was shared towards Geogia's aspirations of EU membership.
